Best Running Shoes For me?

I%26#039;m 16, 135lbs, 5,11%26#039;, and have been running through a hilly terrain for 2 months 3 days per week.

I have been using Nike Air and Rebock Basketball shoes. I know they aren%26#039;t right. I do not have access to a track or anything. I run very steep gradients, jump over streams, and run on gravel paths and grass. What type of running shoe should I be looking for and what%26#039;s a good website to find out some more information?

Best Running Shoes For me?
I have been running for 8 years now. Though I am biased towards Nike as a brand, I would recommend you to go to a running-specific store, like Fleet Feet in Carrboro, NC. They can help you find the right shoe because people buy shoes that aren%26#039;t necessarily right for their feet, but more comfortable or fashionable. But after you get the correct shoes or even if you haven%26#039;t, I would go to any major athletics store and ask the sales associates because they are getting paid to know the products they are selling. But make sure you state the use/reason for buying the shoes. Good luck!!!

Reply:I would look for a distance or XC shoe with a lot of support in the heel and arch. Also Under Armour just came out with trail running shoes....go to their website to check it out.
Reply:stop running in basketball shoes... they%26#039;re for basketball.

visit your local running store and talk to one of the employees.

i would personally recommend pearl izume or new balance.
Reply:It sounds like you%26#039;d benefit from a trail-running shoe. They are designed with a studded outsole for traction on trails.
